The State Insurance and Provident Fund Department in Rajasthan was established as a welfare measure, aiming to provide comprehensive economic and social security to all government employees. It began its journey in 1943 with just 8000 employees, and since then, it has grown significantly. As of July 2023, approximately 7.72 lakh SI Policy Holders, 2.42 lakh GPF account holders and 5.48 lakh GPF-2004 account holders are benefiting from these schemes.
